About Xtend Barre

Xtend Barre is a global fitness movement that inspires connectivity and delivers challenging programs focused on cardio, strength, stability and endurance. Founded in 2009 by professional dancer Andrea Rogers, the method includes high-energy, rhythmic workouts that combine elements of dance, Pilates and ballet. Led by highly skilled instructors in state-of-the-art facilities, Xtend Barre classes are infused with unique movements and ever-evolving programming designed to deliver a unique, challenging and transformative workout experience.

Franchise History

Beginning approximately April 6, 2007, their founder, Andrea Rogers began developing and testing a ballet barre focused exercise program, and thereafter in March 2008 formed an entity entitled Xtend Licensing, LLC and licensed her exercise concept on a very limited basis to a few studios as an add on to their other exercise offerings to test it in the marketplace. In March 2008, she also created Xtend Workout, LLC, a company she founded to hold the intellectual property she was developing separate from her operations. Xtend Licensing, LLC and Xtend Workout, LLC conducted business for approximately a year and a half. Once Andrea developed and tested the model and potential brand, Xtend Holdings, LLC was formed. They are a Florida limited liability company that was formed on September 18, 2009 and do business as Xtend or Xtend Barre.
