Spherion Names Julie Hansen as New Senior Vice President

ATLANTA – Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) announced today the appointment of Julie Hansen as senior vice president. 

With nearly 30 years of experience at Randstad USA (Randstad), Spherion’s parent company, Hansen brings a wealth of expertise to leading Spherion’s franchise portfolio. She will collaborate closely with franchise business owners, tailoring her support to meet their unique needs. For newer franchisees, Hansen will prioritize helping them establish local marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth and gain a strong foothold in their markets. She will also partner with experienced franchisees to enhance their existing sales strategies, focus on expanding market share and sustain long-term success.

“I’ve always found the greatest joy in my career through helping others grow and succeed, whether it’s guiding them to take the next step in their career or seeing them realize their full potential,” Hansen said. “As I step into this new role, I’m excited to bring that same passion to supporting our franchisees and their teams.”

Hansen built a dynamic career throughout her time at Randstad, where she gained a deep understanding of the staffing industry. She began her professional journey in a field office, advancing through roles as a recruiter, office manager and business development leader. Later, she moved into multi-branch, district and regional leadership. Her experience spans both in-office and on-premise operations, giving her unique insight into meeting diverse client needs. Most recently, she served as a Randstad USA regional vice president, overseeing multiple markets across several states. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to team development, strategic sales and aligning client needs with effective solutions.
