Grand Opening of Kindermotion

October 08, 2024 // Franchising.com // Colorado Springs, CO – Kristie Spielhagen is excited to announce the grand opening of her Kindermotion franchise developed by Kinderdance International. Kristie’s Kindermotion franchise is at That Place Hosting Kindermotion, located at 42 Main Street, Colorado Springs. The grand opening brings a range of exciting Kindermotion programs for children aged 3 to 12, aimed at enhancing physical and emotional development through movement.

That Place Hosting Kindermotion will offer three key programs designed to promote fitness, balance, and holistic growth in children:

• Kindermotion® (ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12): A fitness and sports readiness program that focuses on motor skills, physical development, creative thinking, and academic readiness. This curriculum prepares children for both athletic and academic pursuits, nurturing their minds and bodies.
• Kids Yoga (ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12): A non-spiritual, non-religious yoga program that strengthens the body, improves flexibility, and enhances balance and coordination. It also promotes mindfulness, reduces stress, and helps increase focus and concentration.
• Kindergym® (ages 3-5): A fun-filled gymnastics program featuring tumbling, acrobatics, and movement education. Activities incorporate music appreciation and academic readiness while fostering independence and self-esteem through gross motor skill development. Children engage with mats, beams, and obstacle courses in a safe and nurturing environment.

Kristie Spielhagen, a former Army medic and logistics officer, brings a wealth of leadership and childcare experience to this new role. Born in Louisiana and raised between Louisiana and Texas, Kristie began her career at 17, serving over a decade in the military. Her experience in managing logistics and supporting both peacetime and combat operations provides her with valuable skills, which she now applies to her work with children. After transitioning from the military, Kristie has been active in childcare, driven by her passion for nurturing young minds and teaching emotional awareness.
