Schmackary’s To Open in Long Island

July 22, 2024 // Franchising.com // New York, NY – Schmackary’s has just signed a lease for a franchise location, taking over the old Roslyn Kosher Foods. Situated at 1044 Willis Ave, Albertson, New York, this location is slated to open in early 2025. 

Brenda Grayson, who signed with Schmackary’s earlier this year, set her sights on opening in the Albertson shopping center. “I’m beyond excited to open my first location and bring New York’s favorite cookie to the Long Island community. Schmackary’s has made their customers a part of their story in the theater district, and I am honored to continue that legacy.” said Brenda. “On top of that, their exceptional catering program provides a great way to connect with the community outside the store.”

Brenda joins the Schmackary’s franchise network with over a decade of business experience, including a leadership role at Morgan Stanley, where she directed complex operations and guided high-performing teams. As a former owner of an accounting and administration business, she managed a diverse portfolio of global clients, further enhancing her expertise. Seeking a smooth entrance into the world of franchising, Brenda was drawn to Schmackary's for its proven model and fun, dynamic culture created by Founder Zach Schmahl and COO Jonny Polizzi.
