The Intero Foundation Awards Nearly $350,000 to Local Organizations in First Half of 2018
Grants Go to Organizations That Support Children and Elderly in Need
CUPERTINO, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - July 31, 2018 - The Intero Foundation, a non-profit devoted to helping children and elderly in need, announced their donation round for the first half of 2018. The Foundation gave $347,015.64 to local organizations that support low-income and disadvantaged youth, as well as elderly in need. Since its inception in 2002, the Foundation, which is funded, promoted and governed by Intero’s agents and employees, has raised more than $5.5 million.
“When we started Intero back in 2002, it was our mission to give back to the communities we serve,” said Tom Tognoli, Intero President & CEO. “Back then, I would’ve never imagined that we’d be consistently giving hundreds of thousands of dollars yearly to organizations that provide such incredible services in our communities.”
