One-Third of Nation’s Top 1,500 Real Estate Agents and Teams are Affiliated with a Realogy Brand

According to 2015 REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal Report

52% of Top Agents by Average Home Sales Price and 30% of the Top 25 Across all Six Categories Affiliated with the Company

June 26, 2015 // Franchising.com // Madison, N.J. - One-third (33 percent) of our nation’s Top 1,500 real estate agents and teams by sales volume, transaction sides, and average sales price are affiliated with a Realogy brand, according to the 2015 REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal Report, The Thousand, released today. Realogy Holdings Corp. (NYSE: RLGY) residential brands include Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, CENTURY 21®, Coldwell Banker®, ERA®, Sotheby's International Realty®, and The Corcoran Group®.

The annual report ranks America’s top 1,000 residential real estate agents and teams based on 2014 annual sales volume and transaction sides, and this year for the first time also adds the top 500 agents and teams based on average sales price – making it a ranking of the top 1,500 nationwide.

Average Sales Price by Top Agent and Top Team
In the two new categories this year, Realogy and its affiliates represent:

52 percent (131) of the Top Agents by Average Sales Price. Included in that figure, Realogy’s company-owned brokerage offices, NRT, represents 41 percent (102) of the overall category.
35 percent (87) of the Top Teams by Average Sales Price. Within that figure, NRT represents 27 percent (67), including the No. 1 Team from The Corcoran Group.
Of all the real estate brands ranked, Sotheby’s International Realty has the most Top Agents by Average Sales Price with 30 percent (75) of category.

40 percent (100) of the Top 250 Agents by Sales Volume. NRT: 28 percent (70)
