Europcar Wins "World's Leading Leisure Car Rental Company" Award
December 13, 2007 // Franchising.com // Europcar received yesterday the "World's Leading Leisure Car Rental Company" Award, at the 2007 World Travel Award Ceremony, in Caribbean Islands. With more than 167.000 travel professionals from 160 countries participating to the vote, this election demonstrates the acknowledgement of Europcar as a global car rental player.
The World Travel Awards (http://www.worldtravelawards.com) were established in 1993 to recognize, reward and celebrate the enormous achievements in all sectors of the travel industry at an international level. The World Travel Awards are considered as the best endorsement by travel professionals and their clients all over the world.
Regional leading companies, in each of the 8 world areas, are also rewarded, following the same categories and criteria, including the quality of their services.
In Europe, Europcar won the "Leading Car Hire" Award for the fifth consecutive year on 9th October 2007, in Newcastle, UK, confirming once again its N°1 position on the European market.
