New FASTSIGNS Sign and Graphics Center Opens in Katy, Texas

October 17, 2007 // Franchising.com // - A new FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics center, located at 1245 N. Fry Road, in front of the Home Depot, is now open in Katy under the ownership of area resident Brian Kordie.

"My father operated his own franchised business and by watching him, I decided that I, too, wanted to run my own business," said Kordie on his decision to open a FASTSIGNS center. "When exploring the opportunity to be part of the FASTSIGNS network, what impressed me most was that they provide unparalleled support to their franchisees to ensure that they are able to offer the best services and products for their customers."

Kordie has lived in the Katy area for 15 years and knew that his hometown would be the ideal location to start his own business. "I am familiar with the people and local businesses in Katy, which is a very diversified and growing area," he continues. He feels that the addition of his business to the community will help meet the demand for local sign and graphics needs that have not yet been met.

The Katy FASTSIGNS center will provide a full range of sign and graphic solutions to area businesses, organizations and events, from full-color banners and point-of-purchase signs, to building façade illuminated channel signage, safety and identification signage and vehicle graphic wraps.

"We are a brand new business with state-of-the-art sign making abilities and technology," states Kordie, who spent the past 17 years in the insurance business.
