MANDLER’S SERVES UP SAUSAGE CELEBRATION ON NBC TODAY SHOW

NEW YORK CITY, JULY 6, 2006 – Mandler’s The Original Sausage Company www.Mandlers.com, the gourmet quick serve restaurant rated among the best in New York City dining, reported today that the growth strategy of its quick serve franchise opportunity is on target and attracting wide entrepreneurial interest from around the country. The announcement follows the Independence Day invitation for restaurant founder Ronnie Mandler to appear on NBC’s Today Show.

“I was pleased to be invited and with the enthusiastic response we’ve received from prospective franchisees looking to capitalize on Mandler’s momentum and unique concept of our New York gourmet quick serve restaurant,” Mandler said.

Mandler celebrated July 4 on the Today Show with a sausage extravaganza that drew applause from the show’s live audience in Rockefeller Center. The top-rated morning show presented its national audience with an “haute dog extravaganza”- featuring Mandler grilling a variety of the restaurant’s high-quality 9 1/2" long, European-style sausages.

“It was a pleasure to cook in front of such an enthusiastic audience. We matched the sense of occasion with a choice of eleven different mouth-watering sausage recipes including our traditional Bratwurst, Bockwurst, Chorizo, Krainerwurst and Knockwurst sausages and chicken, turkey, Andouille, Italian, Kosher beef and veggie sausages served in between 4 different kinds of fresh baked, slightly crispy buns. Our specials, the Spanish mix and Mandler’s in a blanket - Andouille sausage with cheese in a crusty pastry were also a big hit,” Mandler said.

“We felt Mandler’s unique sausage recipes would make for a delicious feature on the Today Show and were delighted that its producers agreed,” said Mark Hopkinson, CEO of NewsMark Public Relations and Mandler’s publicist who took the idea to NBC.

Mandler’s also serves up its gourmet sausages and Mandler’s Original signature mustards made from a secret recipe including Horseradish Mustard, Vermont Maple Mustard, Roasted Garlic Dijon Mustard, Amber Ale Honey Mustard, Three Peppercorn Dijon Mustard and Smokey Garlic Dijon Mustard, from its online sausage store.

Located off Union Square, Mandler’s serves its unique variety of European-style sausages in a setting that combines graceful décor. As part of its strategic growth plan, the restaurant recently showcased its quick serve concept at the International Franchise Expo in Washington, DC.
