About Bark Busters Home Dog Training

Bark Busters is an in-home dog training. Over the past 30 years, we have trained dogs and their pet parents using our natural communication techniques. We apply the same communication methods - body language and voice control - that dogs instinctively follow. Our expert dog trainers and dog behavioral therapists are highly trained and supported by an international team of dog training experts. We resolve the most challenging dog behavior issues - aggression, destruction, separation anxiety, sibling rivalry - as well as address issues like nuisance barking, digging, jumping, leash pulling, territory marking, whining, and more. We also teach basic dog obedience and puppy training/management, all in the comfort of your home.

Franchise History

Bark Busters was started in Australia in 1989 by Sylvia and Danny Wilson, expert dog trainers and authors of many dog training books. Sylvia was head of an RSPCA shelter and studied the behavior and communication methods of dogs for years. She was saddened by the number of dogs she saw being maltreated, abandoned and euthanized for behavioral problems, which she knew was due to a lack of consistent leadership. This became the basis for creating Bark Busters unique, naturalistic and holistic training techniques.
