ATAX is a year-round tax preparation and business services franchise that services clients in both Spanish and English. 

Franchise History

ATAX was launched in 1986 in New York City’s Washington Heights.  The company began franchising in 2007.  ATAX was acquired in 2018 by Loyalty Brands, led by John Hewitt who founded both Jackson Hewitt and Liberty Tax Service.  The company is community-focused and creates and participates in many local events to raise awareness about tax issues, compliance, and new tax laws.
